Business Profile

Inspired by perfection, driven by passion... I have been a photographer for as long as I can remember. My journey started back in the days of working for a newspaper within Tamworth and Burton Upon Trent. Doing the jobs none of the other reporters or photographers wanted. Normally late nights and early mornings, covering clubs and pubs, interviewing "B" list celebs etc. This contributed to an amazing social life with so many great times going down in colour and black and white.



Nowadays my photography is more sedate, with my passion for wildlife to weddings and portrait photography taking me all over the UK and abroad. So what about my wedding photography you may ask? Well, this is where I get creative. I love candid photography, as well as posed works of art. The thing is over the years I have shot just about everything. I have many strings to my photography bow. I work with both natural light as well as a multitude of off camera flash options. So whatever we are confronted with, your images remain the very best they can be. It does not stop there, I have a good working knowledge of several software programmes that will also polish up your images to works of art. I do not use presets as these I feel are adapted to an individual image. Each image is different, and everyone has my undivided attention. You can relax in the knowledge that my experience goes over thirty years in the field. Why consider those who are learning on your time and money.



All of my wedding photography samples on this site are of real brides and real weddings. I do not use shots of models, made up by professionals and taken hours to pose for one shot. As I think this is misleading and not the "real world" wedding photography scenarios we encounter. I believe my work and my ethics are enough to sell my services. I do not use fancy marketing or need to pay to join organisations, just for a certificate to tell me I am a professional photographer. Judge me on what you see and what I do. You do not need to pay more for less. And if you pay less, you invariably get what you pay for. I firmly stand by honest, quality photography at a fair price.......



I shoot with two bodies, both Sony full frame cameras, the A7r and the A7rii. 36MP and 44MP. I honestly think there is no better camera for wedding photography and portraiture. All of my glass is made in Germany by Zeiss and the combination of German engineering with the technology of the Sony system....... Well, seeing is believing.
