Please phone in advance to ensure Gabrielle in at the workshop. Gabrielle Dudley has spent 15+yrs perfecting her own unique style of handmade mosaic. Like no other, the curvilinear possibilities and hand-painted designs take these mosaics into a class of their own. Visit the gallery or go online to see samples of design ideas and the ever expanding range of pre-made relief image tiles. The inspiration for her work comes essentially from the beauty of the natural world, the flora and fauna of West Wales. However, the nature of the tiling combined with the talent of Gabrielle means you are able to acquire a design or theme unique to you and your own desires.

Hand Made Tiles by Gabrielle Dudley The business specialises in designing and making hand made tiles to commission. A selection of finished single tiles is also available in the showroom.
Oil painting commissions also accepted.

Hand Made Tiles by Gabrielle Dudley Workshop and showroom premises where samples of ceramic tiles, murals, mosaics and paintings can be viewed and personal artworks can be commissioned. Some artworks are also for sale.

MODELLED TILES New relief images (pictures) can be modelled in the subject, style and size that is limited only by your imagination. A good photograph or drawing to work from is all that is needed, or Gabrielle can compose an image for you to suit your ideas and project.
Modelled relief images can also be used for decoration on pottery, medals etc. and can be supplied as a plaster mould for commercial reproduction.

WINDOW MOSAICS These mosaics are composed from kiln fired glass tesserae and fixed onto laminate sheet glass. Made up as a sealed unit they can be fitted into any window frame for a colourful feature where inside privacy is needed. Alternatively they can be framed to hang like a painting with an LED light edging to make a stunning centrepiece for any situation.

TILE MURALS The majority of Gabrielle's workshop time is engaged in creating these unique and individually styled murals for situations such as cooker back-splashes, bath and sink areas and fireplace surrounds. They can curve to fit any profile and are especially suited where the style of architecture or design demands a utility tiling but the surface needs an artisan approach. They work particularly well in renovated old buildings, hand-built cob houses or modern straw bale buildings.

PAINTINGS Gabrielle enjoys painting on large canvases up to 3 metres or more but is also proficient when working on a small scale. Her attention to detail is well noted and portrait likeness can also be undertaken with great accuracy and feeling.
Gabrielle rises to the challenge of creating something a little different by painting upon different types of surfaces.

BLANK NOTELETS These cards are folded and have a blank page for writing. They come packed in cellophane pockets with envelopes to fit.

DIGITAL CANVAS PRINTS hese images have been composed by Gabrielle from her own photography using a computer. Each one is printed digitally onto canvas but she is insistent that these images should be printed only once in one specified size, making each image completely unique. These are not reproductions of paintings, but are modern artworks where computer skills have replaced her paintbrush skills and echo the overlay style of some of her paintings. Paint is often added to the image after printing to complete the composition.

Litho Prints These Lithographic and photographic prints are available from the Gallery mounted inside a card frame. Different colours mount boards can be supplied.
